Aranya Smriti (Jaldapara) is an eco-homestay located near Gate Number-2 of Jaldapara forest. The homestay is surrounded by evergreen forest on three sides and the rooms open to the sight of lush green tropical forest. The accommodation combines the advantages of a home stay with amenities similar to a resort or hotel. As the home-stay is touching the forest it is not unusual to get to see a herd of wild elephant, gaur or stray rhino roaming on the forest fringes. There are six rooms available to tourists. The concrete rooms have attached toilet with western commode and running hot and cold water. The rooms large windows and a common balcony in front. The balcony is an ideal place to spend a long afternoon enjoying nature's bounty. The large pond in front of the homestay adds to its overwhelming beauty. We offer no frill decent clean and hygienic accommodation. We don't offer television or WiFi in the room. There are two single beds in each room. Additional bed if required is available on payment basis. The location will spell bound you with beauty of forest and also farm land. During the cultivation season, the area near the home-stay is covered with paddy. You may enjoy as well as join in the cultivation with locals.
